Cemetery Policies
To preserve the beauty and integrity of Center Point Cemetery, we kindly ask all visitors and plot owners to follow these guidelines.
1. General Conduct
- The cemetery is a place of respect and remembrance. Please conduct yourself with dignity at all times.
- No loud music, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate activities are permitted.
- The cemetery is open from sunrise to sunset.
2. Burial Regulations
- All burials must be arranged through the cemetery office.
- Only approved grave markers, headstones, and memorials are allowed.
- Burial plots must be paid in full before interment.
- Vaults are optional for any burial.

3. Headstones & Memorials
- All markers must be made of durable materials (granite, marble, or bronze).
- Headstones must meet size and placement regulations.
- Any headstone installation must be scheduled and approved in advance.
🔹 Check with cemetery staff before ordering a marker.
4. Flowers & Decorations
- Fresh & artificial flowers are allowed but must be placed in an approved vase.
- No glass, ceramic, or breakable containers.
- Seasonal decorations will be removed after 30 days.
- Flags and military markers must be properly maintained.
5. Cemetery Maintenance
- Regular maintenance includes mowing and general upkeep.
- Any decorations that interfere with maintenance may be removed.
- The cemetery is not responsible for lost or damaged decorations.

6. Prohibited Items & Activities
❌ No unattended candles, lanterns, or open flames.
❌ No unauthorized plantings (trees, shrubs, flowers).
❌ No digging or disturbing existing gravesites.
❌ No hunting, fishing, or recreational activities.
🚫 Violations may result in removal of items without notice.
7. Plot Ownership & Transfers
- Burial rights may be transferred only with cemetery approval.
- Ownership must be verified before a transfer is recorded.
- The cemetery does not buy back plots but can assist in transfers.
